Challenge
A convenience store location needed its existing slatwall removed and replaced to support an updated store layout.
The work had to be completed inside an active retail environment, which meant coordinating carefully around store operations, merchandise, and customer traffic. The goal was simple: complete the upgrade efficiently without disrupting the customer experience.
Solution
PRS managed the removal and installation over the course of two days, which included:
- Removing the existing slatwall per updated layout specifications
- Prepping the wall for drywall installation
- Taping, mudding, drying, and painting to match the existing wall
- Repairing the 14-inch height difference associated with the new 8-foot VCI slatwall
- Installing the new client-supplied VCI slatwall
- Creating protective barriers to safeguard flooring and merchandise
- Cleaning and removing all work-related debris
Result
The store now has a clean, updated slatwall installation aligned with the new layout and merchandising plan.
By carefully coordinating the work around daily operations, PRS completed the upgrade quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to the store environment. Another example of how PRS helps retail teams execute projects efficiently while keeping operations moving.
